May 31 – Pentecost
Association of Lutheran Church Musicians -Virtual Hymn “O Day Full of Grace” This collaborative effort is downloadable, streamable, and free use on any of your online channels.
June 7 – Holy Trinity
Presiding Bishop Eaton will be providing a recorded sermon for any congregations who wish to use it. The video recording will be available on May 31 for streaming and download. A document with texts, suggested music, and more for the Service of the Word is currently available online here. A text-based transcript of this sermon will also be available.
June 17 – Commemoration of the Emmanuel Nine
In 2019, June 17 was designed as a commemoration of the martyrdom of the Emanuel 9—the nine people shot and killed on June 17, 2015, during a Bible study at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, S.C. There are several resources for planning worship for the Commemoration of the Emmanuel Nine.
