Amber Jackson-Elwer joins the Office of the Bishop in the role of Administrative Assistant for Office of the Bishop
Amber Jackson-Elwer has accepted the position of Administrative Assistant to the Office of the Bishop and began serving in the new position on September 28.
The Administrative Assistant for the Office of the Bishop is responsible for providing hospitality, general office work, and administrative support for the bishop and all Office of the Bishop staff.
In sharing the news, Bishop Amy Current said, “Amber brings organizational and administrative experience and a deep understanding of hospitality to this position. I have no doubt that Amber will be an asset to the entire synod.”
Amber Jackson-Elwer enjoys connecting with people. She is delighted to be making those connections in her role at the synod office. A graduate of Grand View University and deep-rooted Lutheran, she can often be found hiking and exploring with her family.
