On September 7th, all over the country ELCA congregations put on yellow shirts and picked up shovels, serving spoons, sewing needles, and hair nets to serve their neighbors locally and globally. Around the Southeastern Iowa Synod congregations joined together and fought hunger, helped children and the elderly, made meals and donated supplies.

We’re highlighting stories from around the synod from “God’s work. Our hands.” Day of Service.
