Join rostered ministers and professional ministry staff of congregations for the 2022 Fall Conference, “Story and Sabbath,” at the Hyatt Regency Coralville Hotel & Conference Center in Coralville. Presenters Rubén Duran and Rozella Haydee White will be presenting on the intersections of story, sabbath, wellness, and care. There will be time for learning, fellowship, conversation, and spiritual renewal.
About the Speakers
Rozella Haydee White (she/her/ella) is the #LoveBigCoach, is a Social Impact Entrepreneur who is focused on nurturing love that is life-giving, justice-seeking, and healing so that all can thrive. She is a public theologian, spiritual life and leadership coach, inspirational speaker, and writer committed to embodying love that is bold, intentional, and generous. Read more
Rev. Ruben Duran serves as Senior Advisor for New Ministry Development in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. He resources Synod mission strategies, local initiatives, and innovative models that nurture life-changing relationships in new and existing communities of faith in the USA and the Caribbean. He also resources 352 new mission congregations reaching people in multiple contexts throughout the country. He has a passion for identifying, equipping, and deploying new and diverse leaders as evangelists and promoters of justice and equity for all, especially among people on the margins of society. Childcare
Childcare will be available and provided on-site during the conference during the main sessions. We ask that parents keep their children with them during mealtimes, free time, and in the evenings. There is no cost for childcare to families. You do not need to include children in the conference registration, but childcare reservations are required by filling out this form by September 9th. Worship for October 2 (Sunday after conference)
In order to give rostered ministers time to be present at the conference, an online pre-recorded worship service will be provided for Sunday, October 2nd. These materials will be available shortly before the conference.
