Join pastors, deacons, and ministry professionals from around the synod for a two-day digital conference engaging the systems and practice of working toward racial justice. Keynote speakers Rev. Tiffany Chaney and Sr. Kelly Marciales will engage how systems of racism are perpetuated and how to dismantle them, as well as practical examples of how Christians can work with neighbors to work toward racial and economic justice at the local level.

Participants will also engage with Transforming White Privilege, a racial justice training course provided in part through a partnership with the ELCA and the Kellogg Foundation. Facilitators will work through the first half of the training during Fall Theological Conference and will offer the second half online October 5-6. RSVP for the second half of Transforming White Privilege.

In order to allow participants to more fully engage, the planning team will provide a prerecorded worship service congregations can use for the following Sunday, September 27.

This online Fall Theological conference will be held via Zoom videoconferencing and is offered free of charge, registration is required.
