- SWO Winter Retreats in the Works
- On the West Side: Camp Pilgrim Heights at Montour is scheduled for Feb. 17-18, 2012. Upper level of Autumn House (where it’s been held in the past). Price is $30.00. A registration form is at the bottom of this article. Please send your check or money order to Pat Kolpin, 400 McClellan, Apt. 4, Tama, Iowa 52339 by Jan. 23, 2012 and more detailed information will be sent a few weeks prior to the retreat.
- On the East Side: Camp Wyoming at Wyoming, Iowa is scheduled for Feb. 3-4, 2012. The Owls Nest Bldg. (this is a new site) will hold 30 people and has everthing under one roof. Linens are furnished. Price is $30.00. Please send your check or money order to Jane Kruse, 805 S. 14th Ave., Washington, Iowa 52353 by Jan. 9, 2012. More details will be sent a few weeks prior to the retreat. Please tell your friends, relatives, acquaintances about the retreat and lets have a full house in February. Please pray for the leaders and organizers and for the retreat itself, that God will bless us with good weather and safe travel. See you in February!
- IT ISN’T TOO EARLY! to mark your calendar to come to the 25th Annual Gathering of the Southeastern Iowa Women of the ELCA. We will again meet in Marshalltown at the Best Western Regency Inn Convention Center August 3 & 4, 2012. The planning committee is working to make this another great Gathering, so if you can volunteer to help or have any ideas, let us know. Our theme is “RENEW” .
