This commission attends to the intersections between the church’s mission and the world’s needs. This commission is responsible for holding this synod accountable for our shared commitment to ministry to and with people living in poverty. It is also responsible for other issues including peace, justice and care for creation. Areas of focus will include but are not limited to:
- Ministry to people living in poverty, peace and justice, advocacy
- Care for creation
- Rural ministry
